So I've been slacking with the blogging again. All 'round. I took this great road trip, have some great stories to tell, and not one has been written about yet.

I wanted to do a stats recap like I did with the trip to Chicago.

I wanted to wax poetic about all that I took away from the conference.

I unfortunately did not get to connect with my pal in Fairmont. They must be out of town or pissed at me or something.

I'm back in MN! I'll be overnighting in Fairmont, partly because I don't think I can make it all the way, and partly to hopefully visit a pal.

I'm now back in my own time zone. YAY!

I've hit the road again, the last stretch. Although, with the timezone change, I don't know if I'll get all the way home tonight.

I'm safe and sound in my hotel room in Rapid City. Sweet dreams!

Survived The Hike

I am down off the mountain and back on the road, having encountered no grizzlies or stray bullets. Got an oil change, coffee, and am heading for Rapid City!

Why the orange vest you ask? So as not to be mistaken for an Elk by Montana's hunting folk.

I'm up and headed up Hyalite Canyon to hike. Did laundry last night at the hotel and won $58 playing Keno at the casino next door. :)

Made it to Em's in Bozeman!

Oh! And I just noticed I'm in Montana! Passing through West Yellowstone. 89 miles to Bozeman.

I'm driving through Targhee national forest on 2-lane road. Passing is FUN!

I am now in the land of potatoes. Ladies & gentlemen, I bring you Idaho! She's 62 and sunny, and bigger in the bottom than the top.

Hitting the road for Bozeman after a nice run around the industrial area I stayed in, near the airport. Will stop to grab food and java.

I've made it to Salt Lake City.

Just crossed into Utah. Beautiful scenery ahead! (At least until the sun goes down)

I'm leaving Vegas. Mostly a loser, but a winner in my heart. Destination: Salt Lake City.

OMG, I just found a game called "Village People Party." How can I NOT play??

Just pulling onto The Strip now. Staying 2 nights at the Monte Carlo.

Filled, watered, re-iced the cooler and picked up a couple slices of za for lunch finally in San Bernadino. And a cuppa Jo. 212 mi to go.

The conference is over, and I am back on the road! Destination Las Vegas!

Tijuana, Here We Come

We have embarked upon our Tijuanan adventure, sans Angela. A MN contingency of 6 + Armando of Miami, designated troublemaker.

Just had coffee and a scone with Aunt Val, and am now on Mission Beach, about to have a good run before I head back to the hotel.
