156.6 on the scale, no exercise. Had to give my various body parts a rest. ;)
So, tonight we went to an awards thingy for the Minnetonka School district, in which Cole was awarded a ribbon for his performance in a math contest. The kid tied for second place in the DISTRICT in his grade. Eh? Eh?
Yeah, we breed 'em smart at the Hummel farm.
Anyway, after the ceremony, Jo's parents took us to Perkins to treat Cole to some dessert. We had a pretty fun waiter named Sam, who upon learning why we were there, high-fived Cole and said that his slice o' pie a la mode (that's French for "with icecream on it", tee hee) was on him!
Cory was quite impressed with how much that guy enjoyed his job, as was I. So that, in addition to trying to figure out the square root of 15 in our heads (thanks Shad), was the topic of convo for the night.
