Day 249 - Mini-Summit Day

160.5 on the scale. 10.75 miles biking on the path, 150/100.

We had our Mini-Summit today at HAM. For those that don't know, we periodically gather everyone from the company in for a full day (Summit) or a half day (Mini-Summit) to talk about business direction and stuff — recaps of where we've been, where we're going, what might be changing, and most importantly an open forum where people can voice ideas they've had about the business or process or something. Really just an opportunity to direct attention inwards and get everyone on the same page.

Today was an afternoon half-day with lunch delivered in from Famous Dave's. We recapped what's happened since the last Mini-Summit (lots of improvements), and then had each team present what they've been up to. There were a couple of great discussions after the Producers and the Developers, then it was the Designer's turns.

They presented the new direction for our branding, which I'm happy to say got everyone pretty excited. Brad even pushed himself away from the table a bit afterwards and said, "I'm damn glad I have a job here at Ham in the Fridge!".

What better reaction than that?
